Home Sweet Home!

We never knew how much the Santa Monica pier was on TV until we lived next to it! :)
We have had a lot of fun living by the beach!

This is our new car!  We had to have another so that I could work and Kyle could go to school at the same time!  I want to paint it some day:)

How can we sum this up?!

Although Kyle's last post says that he hadn't posted for a while...... now it really has been too long!  So, needless to say, a lot has happened since then, but we are going to give this another shot.  If you are ready for an update, bare with me and I will try to sum it up without writing a novel! Although we had a rocky start (as in not having a home yet as we were driving off in our moving truck) we finally made it here to sunny So Cal and are really enjoying this beautiful area!  And we have been counting our blessings all along the way!  We were saved by a LDS couple managing apartments here who were willing to bump us up their list of friends and give us a home!  Ever since then they have been on the look out for us and we have been able to create a friendship with them that we are so grateful for.  Our church building is just down the road (we thought it would be halfway down the state :)) and we have met so many supportive and uplifting people there.
Kyle is really enjoying his school with it's gorgeous ocean view and doing a great job there!  I was lucky to quickly find a job as a nanny for a sweet baby named Nicholas.  Although I would make a few adjustments to the job if I could, I know I am lucky to have one that can support us in our journey for now!  Plus its fun to watch Kyle step in when we get the chance to watch him together for an evening.
We have had the sunniest Winter ever.  Not only did we have an AMAZING christmas vacation in Mexico, but we have had weather lately in the 70's and 80's in January and loving it!  We love to walk down to the beach and over to the pier and they even have my favorite, cotton candy!  We were so lucky when Kyle's parents came to help us move in and are excited to share all of our discoveries here with future visitors!  We are waiting for you!:)
